Thank you for your interest in participating in Part 2 of the AMCAP study.

Information for people with lived experience of receiving pregnancy care in Alberta:

We are interested in talking to people who have been pregnant or had a pregnant partner between 2022 and 2024.

To be eligible to participate, pregnancy care and birth should have occurred in Alberta to relate your experience and perspectives to the context of the healthcare system in this province.

We welcome your request to participate regardless of the model in which you received pregnancy care (i.e. whether you had care with an obstetrician, family physician or a midwife).

Questions to which you need to answer 'yes' to, to be eligible to participate:

  • Was the pregnancy care and birth in Alberta?

  • Was your baby born between 2022 and 2024?

  • Was your baby born between 24 and 42 weeks of pregnancy (6 to 9 months of pregnancy)?

Information for pregnancy care providers and other key stakeholders in Alberta:

We are interested in talking to pregnancy care providers (midwives, nurses, family physicians and obstetricians) and other key stakeholders (e.g. managers, regulators, educators, etc.) to understand what healthcare system or other factors contribute to different outcomes between publicly funded pregnancy care models in Alberta.

To be eligible to participate, you should have at least one year of experience in your current role in Alberta to relate your knowledge and perspectives to the context of the healthcare system in this province.
